Explain why Nadia and Alex are relied on by the Beasts, Walimai and the Natives to communicate with the Modern World? The reason why Nadia and Alex are relied on by the Beasts because they are the only ones who can understand them as far as the environment. But all the other Natives are only judging them by what they hear but by not their experienced that they have been through yet. They even hear about the name "The Beast" and tha suddenly turns them off.
The Beast is also sharing the same home as Nadia and the rest of the Natives. So how come they cant treat him as one of their own? Because he is different than them thats why. They imagine him as to be very mean and vicious and unforgiving. They also imagine him as the other great legends like Big Foot or the Abominable Snowman.
And so if Alex thinks that The Beast is dangerous by listening to his crazy grandmother and her rumors and stories about it. He started to have certain thoughts about it and started to get nervous to go out into the jungle with it. So him and Nadia went out to search out for it since he already experienced the unfortunate stuff in the jungle.
They communicate with the Modern World by doing some meditation like certain Natives do. To them the Modern World right now they communicate by talking or learning from somebody who is from that type of world. Like Kate she teaches the little upcoming Hunters or mothers about how she lives in her environment. Telling at least positive stories of where she lives.
Also they thought that communicating with the world is spiritually. Like meditation and using your mind to see things you cannot see in the near future or tomorrow. Nadia i think that she doesnt believe in such things she just explores and see for herself.
See if it all has to do with seeing is believing and communicating in a confusing way it all has to do with your opinions or things you think. I dont care what they do unless they are happy of what they think or what they are doing that is just fine by me.
Also by respecting each others personal and mental opinions no matter how dumb you may think it is. Because your judgement may be no weirder than the other person next to you. So Alex and Nadia are good characters in this book because they care for other peoples feelings including the beasts.bX-hzj2o6

Why would the Beast possibly rely on the two young children Nadia and Alex to communicate with the modern world? A beast is defined as a cruel, coarse, filthy, four-legged mammal. Communicate is to express thoughts, feelings, or information easily or effectively. Modern world is the circumstances and ideas of the present age. Being that the Beast lives a far different life than the humans, communication would play a major role in its survival.
In most situations these days, communication is a very important thing. Without communication most things either won't get done, or they won't be accomplished properly. Every day you deal with communication in school, at home, on the streets, even in your personal relationships. Communication is the key to everything and its being.
The Beast lives among the natives and other animals in the area. However barely anybody has actually proved with evidence of encountering it. So since they go on living life with what they heard, they don't have the decency to even consider if what they'd been told is accurate or true. Therefore not giving the Beast a choice of the matter.
Moreover the natives and the Beast,it would be safe to say that they do not know anything about the modern world. Alex does because really it's practically where he came from. And Nadia even though she spent most of her life with her father out there in the forest, her mother was a "modern chic." So them two alone not even minding the rest of the people on the expedition, but they all have first-hand experience.
However Alex and Nadia from the rest of the group along on the journey is like 2 children at their mothers job as a CEO on bring your child to work day. They can relate to each other but, their moms swear they can but they really can't and don't understand them. Alex and Nadia knows what's going on, and understand how the Beast feels better than anybody else in the book thus far. Nobody seems to understand better than them two.
So the communication that's going on is sort of the type of communication where one can relate to another. Since everyone seems to be trifled by the Beast no one really took into consideration the fact of thinking for themselves. So the effect of that is stories passed along that are easily believed.
In closing the Beast would rely on the two children because they seem to understand what's going on better than anyone else. While others make assumptions and run away, they both think shared ideas and stay. So the Beast may rely on them because no one else would be more reliable.

In conclusion I think that life surrounds its self without communication. If there wasn’t any communication in this world then this world would be good but not in a sence of great bad because no one speaks . You need to communicate to get your point across.

Alex and Nadia i believe are th most talanted of all of the group. I believe that they have the potential to be great. Both young people are led on a thrilling and unforgettable journey to the ultimate discovery. They are gettling closer to finding the beast.

I believe that Nadia and Alex are relied on by the Beasts, Walimai and the Natives to communicate with the Modern World because they felt confortable with them. They felt as though they could trust them and kind of depend on them. In the story Nadia said that if Walimai could understand the Beast then so could she because they were both Indian.
This right here meant that Nadia must of felt some type of connection between her and Walimai. She already thought they had something in common or was alike because she felt, whatever he could do, she could to because they are the same kind.
In the book it said compared to the beast the indians were quite sophisticated.
Also in the book it said " why did they think of the creatures as gods, if they themselves had evolved farther. I think they was judging a book by its cover because they thought that the beast was probably just mean, ugly, and very harmful. So why would he be called a god? As they got to know more about the beast, they feelings have changed.
At first they was so afraid to go near the beast. That was only because of its physical appearance. Now that they know the beast they think of him as an alright person. They understand more than anybody would. They communicated very well.
In order for you to communicate with someone you would have to be a person thats not very hard to get along with. If no one doesnt like you or you have a bad attitude it would be hard for you to communicate with others. By communicating with someone you could learn new things , they can teach you things that you never knew. Such as in the story when Nadia And Alex were learining things.
I think that they are able to communicate with the modern world because they have learned so much. From Nadia being on trips with her dad at the forest and from Alex being on his own traveling they should know how its like out there. They also could have learned many new things from what people are telling them. Which is from they experiences though.
In conclusion, i think that they communicate so well because of the type of people they are. Things may have happened differently if everyone had a different attitude. I think that they was learning good important things and they are learning much from there trip. They are experiencing new things and its preparing them for the world.

Nadia and Alex have an idea of what the beast looks like. Based on what they’ve heard. Also on what Kate has told them. Alex is till getting used to living in the jungle. Nadia has experience. Nadia’s dad is also in the jungle. He is Cesar Santos.
Neither Alex or Nadia have seen the beast so far. They just hear what everyone in the jungle has to say about him. He obviously must be big, and strong. They go by what they hear. Alex has a picture of the beast in his head.
Later on in the story, Alex and Nadia were kidnapped by the Natives. They were both hit unconscious. Nadia heard a noise in the night, while everybody in the expedition was sleeping. So she grabbed Alex. She held him by the arm and they both chased the Natives. Then out of nowhere Alex was hit in the head.
This happened during the night time. Which meant everything was pitch black. When Alex woke, he felt a sharp pain in his head. When he went to touch his head, he felt blood. But he couldn’t see it because it was so dark. He got nervous when he felt the blood. Then he realized his head was split.
So Nadia told him to stay calm. She wasn’t hit for the simple reason of being a girl. But after that, the Natives took them back to their place. The Indians fed them and didn’t hurt them. Besides Alex being knocked unconscious.
Nadia’s father, Cesar Santos was so wrong about the Natives. He has this nasty idea about them. He thinks they eat there own kind. To Cesar the Indians are mean, cruel people. He is terrified by them. But the Indians are proving him wrong. They are not being so cruel to Nadia and Alex.
Actually, the Natives are feeding Alex and Nadia. They let them sleep and even laughed with Nadia and Boroba when Alex thought he was king of the Jungle. But in conclusion, Alex and Nadia communicate with the Natives through Nadia. Since she can communicate with them, that is how they understand each other. Nadia says she saw the Beast. He was big and smelled bad. But Alex didn’t see him, only Nadia did.

Communicate is to give or exchange information by speech or writing. The Modern World is the world during the year 2010, Which the present day. Alex is the main character in the called The City Of The Beast. Nadia is a Girl that in Alex friend and guided. Both Alex and Nadia are relied on by the beasts because they are the only two who really understand the environment around. They really are connected to the environment around them.
They are relied on by everybody, because they are the younger people of the tribe and of the crews and everything. They want a responsible to help the others safe contend to the Modern World. All around the world communicate is a very important thing. Because we use it every day. I don’t think we could life without communicate, it not possible.
The beast is part of the Natives’ lives. Like around the animals and the people. So communicate is a really big thing the that tribe. Because the Beast had to communicate with the people for him to stay be there.. Because if a Beast was just walking around I would a little bit scared.
I believe that Nobody really understand the beast like Alex and Nadia. And that is another reason that everybody relies on Alex and Nadia. Because they really understand the beast I really don’t know why but I think that they have so similar that nothing else really nobody has. And I think they want the fact maybe nobody really cares for them.
What I mean is people may about them. But they not want you around. Because be too young or way to scared. But that just what I think about why Alex and Nadia can communicate with the Modern World and the Beast. Because they are connected in some way.
Being who they are they can communicate with the modern world and the beast. Because they are connected. In the way that they are similar but different. But its like they all are trying to made it work. And that is why I mean.
So to sum it all up Alex and Nadia has a connects to the Modern World. Because they are young and they can understand what is going on. Also Alex and Nadia is connected to the beast because It is around a whole lot. Also it communicate with them.

I believe that both Alex and Nadia would have some sort of an idea of what the beast might look like . So meaning that would be reveling pretty soon . Alex is still the new commer so living in the jungle might seem still odd to him. Both Nadia and alex would depend on the beast becuase they sort of knew there way around the jungle
They only have an idea . Because they never seen it . Only stories or folk tales from the people that live around there. Just like in modern times they would gossip about it . The word would get around and stories where told all over .Details of the beast had to be included because if there telling u its this hight or it makes this sound , hair color ect you get an idea like alex you start to paint a picture in your head .
One fact is that people believe that the beast lives in the same place. As them among the natives and nadia. They clearly dont know how to react to such thing . Do they talk to him ? Do they treat him as if he was one of them ? The stories they would talk about they would still picture him as like a monster. Wouldnt you ? Thats the problem no one really knew or if they did they didnt talk about it as much .
To me communication now days is key . Not just now days but back then also. Now days its used heavenly theres billions of way to communicate with people . Every where you go you might end up talking to some one . Telling a story or sharing true facts . Because its apart of life nothing would get done if every one didnt talk. Thats the amazing thing about it , communication makes the world move . You go to work and you talk , you go to school you talk , watch tv they talk the radio talks every thing use's vocals to talk to you .
Like a stated before thats how the stories of the beast happens . Alex hears them from every one from his grandmothers rumors and native stories ect.. So just like any human , Alex became scared of it . There telling stories that would put fear in any ones eyes .Thats why alex and nadia had went deep in the jungle to go search for the beast.
However it was ok to aleast say that they were safe to say they didnt know about any thing about the "modern world". The only person who can talk about it is alex becuase hes from the out side world . He wasnt born in the jungle . Nadia also because she spent a good amount of her life with her dad out in the amazon. She spent that time with her dad because her mom was a modern chic. So basically they were the only two people who didnt mind the rest of the people on there voyage but then again they had experience in the feild .
In conclusion Communication is key . Thats how things happen every little thing made in this world is because some one talked about there ideas and stressed about . This world would be in the whole if we were all death . However its a shocking fact. To see how communication makes the world go round.

ALEX AND NADIA ARE THE MAIN CHARACTERS IN THE STORY CALLED CITY OF THE BEASTS. THEY ARE THE MAIN CHARACTERS BECAUSE THEY ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO UNDERSTAND THE BEATS. THAT IS A MAJOR PART OF THE BOOK THATS WHY THEY ARE THE MAIN CHARACTERS.

NADIA AND ALEX WERE VERY IMPORATBT PEOPLE OF THE TRIBE. THEY WERE IMPORTANT PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY WERE THE ONLY TWO PEOPLE THAT COULD COMMUUNICATE WITH THE BEASTS. EVERYONE ELSE WAS SCARED TO GO NEAR THE BEASTS BECAUSE THE BEASTS WERE KNOWN AS SCARY AND BIG AND HAIRY CREATURES.

Communication is talking verbally or writing. The Modern World is the present age or you can say "now." Nadia is Alex friend and is a native. Alex is the main character in the book. Nadia and Alex are relied on by the Beasts, Walimai and the Natives to communicate with the Modern World because they are kind of from the modern world.
Also the beast and the rest can trust them and understand them. The beast needs Alex to communicte because the Yeti is not from the modern world. Alex is from it. So if the beast wants to communicate with the modern world, he is going to have rely on Alex.
Another thing is the modern world is all about communicating and technology. Everyone in the world communicate. If it is through sign language,phones,texting,letters,or right in front of you. We all use communication. So the beast is going to need how to communicate with the modern world.
The Natives to. They are going to have rely on Alex and Nadia. They are kind of a tribe or a clan. They stick togther and is like a whole. So it seems like they dont get out much. So they definitly need to rely on Alex and Nadia. If they want to communicate with the modern world.
Carlos Santos is Nadia father. He was very wrong of his perspective on the Natives. He think they are mean and direspectful. However they are the opposite of that. He can ask Alex and Nadia that.
They feed Alex and Nadia and make sure they had somewhere to sleep. They didnt, so the Natives said they can sleep with them. They were being kind and open hearted. They didnt have to let them sleep with them. Even have to feed them.
They are unknown and the Natives dont know Alex and Nadia. So that was a good thing and not what carlos said. If they were over here, I believe that no one would let them sleep with them or feed them. So yes again, they need to rely on Alex and Nadia to communicate with the modern world.

Amazon is a place in Brazil where there is a lot of villages surrounding it and there is a lot of water. The villages is where the beast lurks around and where they scare the people of the village. The spirits are from the other world and where the dead goes after they die. The people are natives that fight for their life and that they are scared to find the beast. Everyone in the Amazon has to fight for there survival and everything they need.
Alex and Nadia would rely on spirits because they would communicate with the old ancestors. Alex had a spirit when he had come face to face with a jaguar and the jaguar would talk to him. Alex found his spirit which was the jaguar so fast and cunning around. Alex never thought that he would have a spirit and would never thought that he would have a spirit guarding. It will also guide them when they need it through there life and the next world.
Nadia explained that Alex had a spirit that would guard him when he needed help. Nadia would call him jaguar because he would be strong and fast as the jaguar. Alex didn’t believe in the stories about the spirits and the beast that is in the Amazon. He actually thought that everything was a lie but he was becoming into a believer. Alex is not going to think that his grandmother is to crazy after all now that he has seen a spirit first hand.
The Nadia would communicate with the modern world through her spirit and the necklace that a man had gave her. The other people from the religions would meditate and try to make contact with the elders. The spirits would also protect her when they are in danger or when they need to talk to them. Carlos Santos the father of Nadia believes in the spirits and the beasts because he had seen that beast before. Also they thought that communicating with the world is spiritually. Like meditation and using your mind to see things you cannot see in the near future or tomorrow. Nadia thinks that she doesn’t believe in such things she just explores and see for herself. That the spirits helps them to become closer to the other side which is the modern world.
Alex is believing in his spirit and now that he believes he will actually have a change of heart about it. That his spirit will guard him when he needs help with any problems. Nadia still has to find her spirit but she has had dreams that her spirit is going to be a bird. That only the necklace can protect her from any danger and that it can help her a lot. Communication to the spirit world is big in the village because it helps them out with their environment.
In conclusion I believe that Alex and Nadia will both rely on the spirits now that they both truly believe in them. Alex will have to now meditate in order to talk to his spirit the Jaguar. Alex will even change the way he is about the Amazon now that he realizes that everything is serious in the Modern World. This will change the rest of his vacation in the Amazon, and now Alex will have a little more respect for the spirits he didn’t believe in.

Nadia and Alex were the best of all of the groups. They have the potential to be great. Both young people are led on a thrilling and unforgettable journey to the ultimate discovery. They are about to find the beast. I believe that the reason that they are relied on by the Beasts, Walimai and the Natives to communicate with the modern world because they are the yougest of the group. They are able to talk to the people and communicate with other people
The Beast is also sharing the same home as Nadia and the rest of the Natives. they cant create him as there own. Because he is different than them thats why. They imagine him as to be very mean and vicious and unforgiving. They also imagine him as the other great legends like Big Foot or the Abominable Snowman.
In most situations these days, communication is a very important thing. Without communication most things either won't get done, or they won't be accomplished properly. Every day you deal with communication in school, at home, on the streets, even in your personal relationships. Communication is the key to everything and its being.
And so if Alex thinks that The Beast is dangerous by listening to his crazy grandmother and her rumors and stories about it. He started to have certain thoughts about it and started to get nervous to go out into the jungle with it. So him and Nadia went out to search out for it since he already experienced the unfortunate stuff in the jungle.

However Alex and Nadia from the rest of the group along on the journey is like 2 children at their mothers job as a CEO on bring your child to work day. They can relate to each other but, their moms swear they can but they really can't and don't understand them. Alex and Nadia knows what's going on, and understand how the Beast feels better than anybody else in the book thus far. Nobody seems to understand better than them two.

Why Nadia and Alex are relied on by the beasts, Walimai and the natives to communicate. Is they are the only ones who can communicate. And they could understand what they are saying. And they trust them enough to help them understand the modern world. That really helps them for when they really need it.
Not too many people have not even seen the beast yet. Only a couple of people have seen the beast. And the word beast means to be something that is big. And something that is ugly and avoids people. Many people on the voyage really do not believe that the beast is real.
The intensions of the Indians are they are very protective. They are protective to keep there heritage alive. So I would say that they are very aggressive. But it is something that is not their fault. They can’t help the fact that they are trying to save their own heritage.
The intensions of the main characters are to see if the beast is real. They want to know this to stop the chaos that is going on about this. Also to see if it is real they can stop it. And make sure that the people are okay and well secured. And so that they can make money off of the creature.
Also the perception of the native by Cesar Santo’s is to be smart. You see when you are smart you do not have to worry about a lot. When you make smart decisions you do not have to regret about doing anything wrong. And you hardly get in trouble for doing the right thing. That’s why it is important to make good decisions.
I believe that the perception of everyone in the story is to be smart. You have to do smart things in life to survive. And in city of the beast they had to be cautious of their surrounding. Or observe what is going on so they would not die tragically. So that is why you have to always observe.
In conclusion the intension of everyone in the story is to catch the beast. They want to make sure to catch the beast. And make sure that it is real. And not something that is fake. And they have to make sure that they all have to make smart decisions.

I feel as though Nadia and Alex are relied on by the beast because the they both understand the beast, and the beast understands them as well.In the story Nadia said that if Walimai could understand the Beast then so could she because they were both Indian.They felt as though they could trust them and kind of depend on them.So being that the Beast lives a far different life than the humans, communication would play a major role in its survival.
The beast are part of the Natives’ lives, like all the animals and people that are around.So communication is a really big thing to the tribe.Because the Beast had to communicate with the people so they could be help.If a strange animal, like a beast was just walking, wouldn't you think people would get scare.
Another thing is that, the modern world is all about communicating and technology.Everyone in the world communicate.If it is through sign language,phones,texting,letters,or right in front of you. We all use communication.So the beast is going to need how to communicate with the modern world.
But in my opinion,I believe that Nobody really understand the beast like Alex and Nadia.And that is another reason that everybody relies on Alex and Nadia.Because they really understand the beast I really don’t know why but I think that they have so similar that nothing else really nobody has.And I think they want the fact maybe nobody really cares for them.
Like for example,Nadia would communicate with the modern world through her spirit and the necklace that a man had gave her.The other people from the religions would meditate and try to make contact with the elders.The spirits would also protect her when they are in danger or when they need to talk to them.The environment also shows the how the modern world can come in contact with the life world.
Like, in my Opinion once aqain,in order for you to communicate with someone you would have to be a person thats not very hard to get along with.If no one doesnt like you or you have a bad attitude it would be hard for you to communicate with others.By communicating with someone you could learn new things,they can teach you things that you never knew.Such as in the story when Nadia And Alex were learining things.
So,in closing the Beast would rely on the two children because they seem to understand what's going on better than anyone else. While others make assumptions and run away, they both think shared ideas and stay. So the Beast may rely on them because no one else would be more reliable.

The reason to me why Nadia and Alex is because they were chosen by Walimai. Walimai told them that they were the only ones that can save the people of the mist. They had to go to the mountain of gods i think i dont remember. Nadaia saw the beast once when they were sleeping while they were getting kidnapped. By the peole of the mist.
she was very scared the next day because of what she saw. she say that its tall and very scary. when nadia and alex went to the modern world. they felt really different. why because alex felt like a real jaguar.
He saw the paws in his hands and he felt stronger. he new he could run longer and was able to catch anything. Nadia though felt like an eagle. she was flying and had feathers. she saw everything with hers eyes of an eagle.
Nadia and Alex were very important to the people of the mist. why because they were the only two who can talk to the mist and could save the people of the mist. without them, the people of the mist will die off a disease. thats why walimai had them both go on a mission to save the people of the mist.
Nadia’s father, Cesar Santos was so wrong about the Natives. He has this nasty idea about them. He thinks they eat there own kind. To Cesar the Indians are mean, cruel people. He is terrified by them. But the Indians are proving him wrong. They are not being so cruel to Nadia and Alex.

in the story the city of the beast. there are two characters, who are alex,and nadia. in this story , during this part alex and nadia are relied on by the beasts. In these next few paragraphs i am going to explain why. and how.
In this story communication is very important. and it is also very important in the world now. if there was not communication in the story and in modern times alot of thing would have been different .
First, alex and nadia are relied on by the beast because they are both able to talk and communicate with other people during this time. which brings me back to saying tht communication is in fact very important.
this also has something to do with trust. being that alex and nadia could communicate with other people. they were trusted for that simple fact. this is another reason they were relied on by the beast.
This was very different from now. now there are many ways to communicate. ways like cell phone, computers,and sending text messages. people where alex and nadia was could not do this so they communivated in pther ways.
In this story alex and nadia were very important people. even though they were young they were son important from the fact that they could communicate with other people. which others was not able to do.
in conclusion, alex and nadia were really relied on by the beast because they were able to communicate with others. which ,made them very trustful and reliable. also very helpful at the same time.

Nadia and Alex are relied on by the Natives, Walimai, and the Beasts because they are kids that have a big purpose for the whole book. Since unlike the rest of the expedition the kids have actually seen the the indains also known sat the people of the mist. They have encoutered what is to be beleived as the beast. And right now it seems like they know more about the whole situation than any of the elders.
In the story, Alex and Nadia were kidnapped by the people of the mist. Alex was hit with a rock that made him unconscious. Nadia heard a noise in the night, while everybody in the expedition was sleeping. So she told Alex that the Indains were here waiting.
The event had happened in the night of the jungle. So everything was very dark. When Alex woke, he felt a sharp pain in his head. When he went to touch his head, he felt blood. But he couldn’t see it because it was so dark. He got nervous when he felt the blood. Then he realized his head was split.
Nadia had told him to stay calm She wasn’t hit since she was a girl. But after that, the Natives took them back to their place. The Indians fed them and didn’t hurt them at all. Besides Alex being knocked unconscious.
Nadia’s father, Cesar Santos was so wrong about the Natives. He has this nasty idea about them. He thinks they eat there own kind. To Cesar the Indians are mean, cruel people. He is terrified by them. But the Indians are proving him wrong. They are not being so cruel to Nadia and Alex.
In conclusion Alex and Nadia are important since they are the chosen foriengers. Also they have been threw alot in the jungle. So they have some ideas on how to catch the beast.

Alex is the main character in the book "City of the beast". Nadia is the girl he met at the amazon who was there with he father who was one of advanturers along with Alex and his grandmother. furthermore in this essay i will explain why them to where relied on to communicate with the beast, by Walimai and the Natives.
I strongly believe that they were relied on because for one they were more familiar with it because they have seen other species that either looked like the beast or featured the beast. Also maybe the beast trusted them because unlike the adults the teenagers Alex and Nadia were like I would say innocent because they were still new to this world.
Another reasoned they were probably relied was because they undersood the because maybe in a way the the travelers and the adventurers did not. for example like the enviroment the beast was the amazon for a while but probably was not familiar with it and the same for the kids Alex and Nadia but especially Alex, was not familiar with the amazon either.
Everyone that was scared of the beast thought of him to probably be mean and disruptive but really he stayed to his self like a regular human being. In a way they were invading his privacy because as long as the people that went up there was save and they knew that the beast would not bother anybody they should have no went there bothering him.
I say that because maybe the beast loved to be by his self with no one around to bother him or just a free zone to his self but when everyone start to come it began to effect him because he would try to say out of there way but they kept following his trail and keeping up with him. if i was that beast i would get annoyed to because people and no only people but individuals need there space.
Cesar Santos’ has the right to have his own opinion but i tould say he should keep it to him especially when your the only person who thinks what you think because in the novel the Natives turned out to be very nice different from everything that Nadia's father was saying,
in conclusion i believe that every individual needs to have the chance to get kno because people in this world today often are judgemental. They dont take the time to get to know either other not if try.

Explain why Nadia and Alex are relied on by the Beasts, Walimai and the Natives to communicate with the Modern World? Be sure to explain the intentions of the main characters, how the perception of the natives are formed by Cesar Santos’ and other adventurers and the reality of how they actually are.
Relied means to depend confidently. Modern World means the current world 2010 or just the 21st century. Perceptions means the understanding of something. This book contains alot of perceptions of one another. Alex and Nadia are relied on by the Beasts, Wailimai , and the Natives to communicate with the Modern World is because they been through alot in the USA and they know the language and the communications that goes on the modern world and can be translated to the Beasts, Wailimai , and the Natives.
When Alex first arrives at the Amazon , she meets a girl named Nadia. They get along very well and they become close friends with each other during the journey of the Amazon. They were the translators for everyone on the journey in the Amazon. W.O. them , the communication between the Beast , Walimai , & The Natives wouldn't be as clear as if they were there.
You got to have communication any where you go in life. Without it , alot of things will be unclear to many. Communication is key in the world we live in , especially today's society. We communicate through cell phones , social networking sites such as Facebook & Myspace etc. , through video chat lines such as OOvOO , Skype etc.
The beast were living with the Natives and the other animals in the Amazon. They didn't have the language where when spoken it could be understood. They had a language where nobody could really understand what they were talking about. They believed the beast was real but didn't have some solid language into proving that.
The beast and the Natives were so used to the Amazon "world" and not really knowing what the Modern World was really about. So , they get Alex whom is from the modern world and knows practically everything about it. Nadia wasn't really from the modern world because she lived with her father but her mom was from the modern world and she told Nadia basically some of the things about it and that's why Nadia knew some of the things she knew. They both [ Alex more than Nadia) really got a first-hand experience on the Modern World while the others are just trying to get by their "Amazon" world.
Alex and Nadia were the best to be "chosen" for being the relied people of the Amazon for the knowledge of the modern world. Even though they are kids, grown - ups feel that they can be trustworthy and not lie about anything. When I mean kids I mean little kids [children under 12) . Grown-Ups like to sugarcoat things that isn't reallie necessary for them to even be doing. You also have to realize that they been through some of the sitations that would be the impossible for adults. Back then , you could imagine that but now , whatever can happen to a kid can also happen to an adult , doesn't matter what the sitatuion may be.

In Conclusion, the Beast , Walimai , and the Natives relied on Alex and Nadia because they were best suited to understand what's going on more than the rest of the expeditores there . When we are kids, we basically had experienced everything , good or bad. Whiether is texting , FaceBooking , or even trying out for a sport ; we experience , wheither you like it or not . Even though they aren't the most knowledgable as in schoolwork and all that real complicated stuff but at the end , they know most about the communication skills then most adults out here. We're the ones teaching them how to text , make a MySpace Page , or even a Facebook , or even how to talk to certain people. That's weird because normally the adults would be teaching us , not us teaching them. That's why they relied on Alex and Nadia for translations / communication gliches etc.
