The Trojan war started over a women named Helen of Sparta and she was taken by the young prince of Troy Paris. The husband of this gorgeous women was angry that the Trojans took his wife and wanted her back. The Trojans didn’t want to give her back so the Spartan’s were angry so they wanted to go to war. Melenalous and Agamemnon teamed up as they should be because they are brothers, and they promised the Trojans that they will burn down Troy to the ground and kill everyone. This is how the Trojan war started at the beginning but then it became about power when it came to concurring Troy.
Polyxena’s definition of love is that it make a person act in stupid ways and they are love blind. Ployxena also says that love makes someone obsessed and Jealous over with the person that they love. Like what happened with Paris and Helen, is that Paris became to obsessed with Helen and had a lot of passion for her that he couldn’t give her back to the Spartan’s. So that’s why the war began, and then theirs another way love is stupid because Alastor’s mother loves him a lot that she protects him from Xanthe a lower class person. And she doesn’t want her son to get married with a person who is a lower class person and he is a upper class man.
Love really could start problems around people and friends over someone, and things could really get bad. So that’s why Polyxena doesn’t want to fall in love and she doesn’t want to have problems in the end. I never want to fall in love at this age and its very distracting. So love is not good for you in till you are older.

The Trojan war began because of the love of Helen. The Spartans and Trojans were fighting for the love of Helen. Polyxena had a different definition of love. To her, love would make people act in stupid ways. That was how the Trojan war began.
The Trojan war started because of the love of Helen. The Spartans began a war because Paris had Helen. The Trojans were not thinking about anyone but themselves. They were acting in greedy, lustful and selfish ways. That was why the war started.
Polyxena had seen love in many different shapes. And to her, love seemed to be a kind of lunacy or foolish. She thinks love makes people behave in stupid ways. And that's what caused the war. The fact that Trojans were not thinking straight but just wanted Helen due to an obsession with her.

Mr. Avery
The Trojan War started when Paris he took one of the Spartan wives named Helen. And what happened was they did not appreciate the fact that she was that she was taken from them. So they did not want to let that happen without a fight. So they did fight them and what had happened was they had won the war. But they did not only fight the city of troy for just Helen but other reasons.
Polyxenes definition of love is that love is something that is uncontrollable. Polyxene also love is something that makes you do things that you do not normally do. “To most people love is like life, you never know what to expect next”. That means that you do not expect things that follow when you are in love. Surprises happen when you are in love.
Love is a reflection of how the Trojan War began because at first it started with love. Then after a while it was not about love but about people wanting control and power. And I think that it was a selfish thing for Paris to do not to give Helen back. And his selfishness caught up to him. That is why the Trojan War started because of love, power, and control.

The Trojan War had started over the most beautiful woman in the world Helen. Who is the wife of the great Greek King. The Greek soldiers had attacked Troy since Paris had stolen Helen away. That is how the whole war had began to start.
Now Polyxena's definition of love is that it make a person act in stupid ways and are blinded by it.She also says that love can make anyone obsessed and jealous over the person that they had fallen in love with love.
Her defintion of love reflects the Trojan War. Since everyone wanted Helen and would risk there life for since they were all obsessed with Helen. Everybody was blinded by her appearance and acted in stupid ways. Thats how Polyxena reflects the war.

Yes their was a such thing as the trojan war. Im going to tell you how it all started.First it was because helen had gotten tooken away from sparta by paris. thats not the only reason why the trojan war started. It also started over power.
Troy had more goods than any other city so their for all of the cities wanted to fight troy because of the power that they had.Thats mainly how the trojan war began.
Polyxebas definition of love is that you cant love someone that is not of your own kind.this relates to the story because xanthe loves alastor but alastor is on a higher social level than xanthe is so their for she is notALLOWED TO LOVE HIM BUT SHE STILL DOES.

Love is defined as a profound passion for another, but my deffinition is an emotion that one feels for another at a specific, particular moment. In the book Troy, Xanthe appears to be the non-loving type of female opposed to the others who only dream about being someone elses housewife. She seems to be the non-loving type because she refuses to get married.
The Trojan War began when Helen was taken from king Hector. Using argot language, Helen was Hectors "girl". But after a situation with the three godesses, Paris became enclosed in a tough tricky situation. That situation was to choose which of the three godesses should have the Golden Apple. They presented their brives,of intelligence and strength, but he fell for Aphrodites' "most Beautiful Woman" card, then being rewarded, Helen, Hectors "girl".
Polyxena's deffinition of love was like if saying, "Relationships are only trouble." When she went to the BloodRoom to Xanthe, Xanthe told her friend about Alastor. Alastor was one of a higher class, and Xanthe was of course the younger but felt the strong emotion "love." Polyxena feels this way because it basically will not work. It's like saying Malia or Sasha Obama grow up, fall in love and marry Ben J or some other type hoodlumish kid artist.

The war of troy had started because of the love and of Helen. She was the Greek great king wife.so i think the spartans were fighting for her love in troy.I think Melenalous and Agamemnon had parterned up as they should be because they are brothers, and they promised the Trojans that they will burn down Troy to the ground and kill everyone.
Polxena's defintion of love reflects the Trojan War by which it started with love and then also a combination of hate.
Polyxena had seen love in a lot of different shapes. To her, love seemed to be a kind of foolish way. She thinks love makes people behave in stupid ways. Also, this was that caused the war.
Troy had more gold and trusure than any other city so their for all of the cities wanted to fight troy because of the power that they had. That also can be said why the war had started.

The Trojan war began because of the love of helen. The spartans and the trojans were fighting for the love of Helen. Polyxena had a different definition of love to her is to make people act in stupid ways. She was enjoying how everyone acted.

Troy had more goods than any other city. They had gold, treasure and etc... Many cities wanted to take that power from . Paris took helen from the spatans. The troy really didn't care because they was starting something.

The Trojan war started when Paris, prince of troy abducted Helen to troy. She was the wife of Menelaus, king of Sparta. Then led a Greek expedition against Troy. He was mad because they took his wife and wouldnt give her back so they started up the war. The trojans were told that they were going to get killed.
Polyxena’s definition of love is that its crazy and foolish. She believes that love will make you do stupid things. When people love one another they dont act like their self. This is what kind of started the war. All because of love with Helen and Paris.
In conclusion, I think that love would be a foolish reason to start a war over. He must of really loved Helen if he wanted to start war over her. So Polyxena was right when she said love can make you do stupid things. I wouldnt approve a war because of love. Thats because it doesnt always last forever.

ReplyDeleteThe Trojan War Began Because of a woman named helen. Helen is from Sparta and she was the Greek king 's wife. Helen was tooken from sparta by a man named Paris who is from troy. Infact he is the prince of troy. The trojan war started because the spartans wanted Helen back and the men of troy refused to return her. and thats really how the war statrted. just becouse of the love of one woman.
Polyxena who is a Trojan princess and the daughter of the King and Queen of troy , also the Wife of Paris had her own definition of love. her difinition of love was That love can blinding. like what happened with Her Husband Paris and Helen. To Polyxena loved also brought alot of jelousy . Just because she love paris . she was jelous of Helen and what helen had. " Love is defined as a profound and tender passion for another " my definition of love is very different from Polyxena 's. i think that love is the way someone feels about someone or toward something when to Polyxena she feels more jelousy.
In Conclusion , The trojan war really began beacause of a women named helen who is from sparta. and is the wife of the king of sparta. Helen was Tooken fron sparta by the prince of troy named paris. By paris taking Helen started the war and they were fighting for the love of Helen. another promblem paris started by taking helen from sparta was promblems with his wife Polyxena.

It is to my understanding that the Trojan war began because of woman named Helen . The war consisted of both the Spartan’s and the Trojan’s for the love of Helen . She ‘s the main reason upon why the war was in fact started in the first place . The feud between the two place’s would become tragic .So the war basically started because of of Paris . Whom had taken Helen from King Hector but Paris is from troy but the the Spartans really wanted Helen back .
Polyxena’s had a different way of love . Her meaning of love was to make people kind of act stupid. This is where it all begins upon why the war was started .That’s the case that the war started causing all this havik . The Trojans didn’t care about any thing , any one , nothing but there self’s there main goal was Helen twenty four seven they became highly infatuated with Helen.
In conclusion love is something that works two ways in this book . From lust and obsession then silliness and foolishness. One women’s perspective beauty causes the war and another’s meaning of love add more fire to the flame making it burst into destruction feather on leading into death .

ReplyDeleteThe Trojan war started over a women Helen who was taken by Paris. hector was angry about this and was said that he still lusted after her. so basically the Spartans and Trojans were fighting for the love of Helen. Thats how the Trojan war was said to have started. but really it was about power and takeing over Troy.
Polyxena’s definition of love was that it can make a person act in stupid and foolish and that love is blind. she said that love often involes Jealousy. Like how andromache was jelous of Helens beauty and thought something was going on between Hector and Helen.
polyxena feels that love is too trouble some and people can sometines act different or strange. love can sometimes be very distracting and thats sort of why the trogan war started. Polyxena had seen love in many different shapes. supposedly The Trojans were were so caught up in their obsession with Helen they had to start a war because of it. love can really be foolish because love is blind.

The Trojan war was started when Paris, the prince of Tory abducted Helen take her to Tory. Helen’s husband Menelaus, king of Sparta. The brother of Menelaus, Agamemnon, then led a expedition against Tory. The reason the Greek’s army was so big, because of the deal by Helen’s father.
The deal was that whoever married , the other kings and lords had to help that man. If something his wife Helen. The reason Helen’s father did that was because he was scared who ever he pick , the other men would had killed him. Then Menelaus was picked to marry Helen.
Polenya saw love as something that so evil. Then it blinded people. She really did think that love was something really important, it was more like something
